What is everyone using for a camera. I have never been one to take to many pictures when hunting. I purchased a canon rebel T6 last night at Costco to use when we are bowhunting and for cat hunting with my hounds.  We can also use the camera for our target business for promo pictures.

I?ve got the canon 80D


Complete overkill for anything I?d ever do or need.  It?s a phenomenal camera though. 
I used to have the T2 rebel and it worked great for about 5 years

Terry, I like our Nikon Coolpix and it covers everything we need.  That said, I lugged it around on our trip to Alaska 3 years and took some really good pictures.  Took it again this past year to Spain but after the first day I took my brother's advice - try your cell phone.


We have relatively new smartphones and they take really good pictures with a high resolution.  Ended up with over 1000 pictures from Spain on my phone and less than 50 on the camera.


Definitely wouldn't take the Nikon in with me on a hunt but always have my phone.
