Cant post pics, error message

My pics are within size limit yet I get this error:

An error has occurred
The attachments upload directory is not writeable . Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved.

Can anyone tell me what this is all about, thanks.

I had the same exact problem! I didn't know how to fix it. I ended up making a free photo bucket account,and then uploading the pictures to it. I then put a link in my post, which elk101 is set up to retrieve itfor you.

Maybe the mods will have this fixed before long.

Same error trying to load a avatar pic. My pic is only 165kb. Anyone had any luck?

Sorry for the issues. We are in the process of moving the Forums to a more robust server, so the files aren't writable right now...we hope to have everything back up over the weekend. Hang in there...
