I?m getting antsy for some whitetail now that my elk season is over!!!

I got an elk this year and I mentioned to my wife that I needed  to check on my deer stands. She says "we dont need the meat, so you dont need to deer hunt". She doesn't understand how ingrained hunting is to my soul. I told her that I can easily find someone to eat a deer if need be.
