In a nutshell, keep it clean and treat others how you'd like them to treat you. If that is too broad to follow, here are a few things we'll be enforcing:

* No foul, obscene, vulgar, sexually oriented, hateful, threatening, or abusive language is allowed. This includes words that include *, @, #, and $ - most people still know what the word is and what it means. It is offensive and will be removed.

* Keep threads and messages on topic. If we need to add another forum, just let us know! If your thread or message is off-topic, it will be removed or moved to the appropriate forum.

* No threads are allowed that single out an individual. If you have a problem with someone, or disagree with the way in which a person acts or what a person has done, take it up with them. DO NOT post it in our forums. Any messages that mention a persons name may be removed at the discretion of the moderators.

* Please, do not post messages that question our moderating. If you have a question or complaint, please email us at
customerservice@elk101.com. If posted on the board, it will be removed.

* No advertising. This includes both commercial and non-profit organizations. If you would like information about advertising or sponsorship at Elk101.com, please e-mail us at customerservice@elk101.com.

* No links to other hunting related websites.

* Troublemakers are not welcome at Elk101.com. If you are repeatedly trying to "stir the pot", your account will be deactivated and your IP may be banned altogether.

* You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and by posting in these forums you agree to indemnify and hold Elk101.com and its agents harmless with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your messages. We reserve the right to revoke your membership to the forums or disable your posting ability for any or no reason whatsoever.

Elk101.com reserves the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you. If you have any questions about these rules or want to report an infraction of the rules, please email
customerservice@elk101.com.
