My father was lucky enough to draw a Oct 1st rifle hunt this year in Idaho. I am just reaching out as I am doing some E-scouting to see if anyone would be willing to maybe just give me some general info on the unit. Seems like a heck of a draw, but its going to take a whole lot of diving into. We got into elk hunting last year and for the first time we successfully called in a few bulls over our archery hunt last year. I would assume the elk tend to be more concentrated in the roadless wilderness area during this time. I also can imagine everything will be pretty dang high with the weather we are experiencing.
