In his defense he’s old. We went out today. Hiked 7 miles. Lots of elk tracks but no elk. We got almost to where I thought elk would be and we saw a truck parked at the bottom of the hill we were headed to. A forester was counting trees. He said he hadn’t seen anything. That’s probably the end of the elk hunting adventures until late muzzleloader season in December.Don't get me wrong, I like fishing a lot, but going fishing instead of elk hunting??? I mean, come on! Lol!!!
My dad retired a few years ago so he has time to fish. It was a waste of time. He trolled for kams for 5 hours and got 0 bites.Ya right!? Why do they always throw in a fishing license, who has time for that?

That's awesome that he was able to put on 7 miles! Sorry to hear it didn't work out, but hopefully December brings you some luck!In his defense he’s old. We went out today. Hiked 7 miles.
