Thanks. The burn is only two years old, but there was plenty of regrowth and plenty of elk sign. You could tell they were coming in there to feed everyday. I saw elk there everyday; even as I was packing meat out.
Success! One of the coolest experiences of my life. There must have been a second rut going on because I was hearing bugles every morning and night. I'm hooked. Hopefully I'll get a chance to hunt this area again, but with a bow. Beautiful scenery.
