bnsafes journal 2014
wasnt suppose to rain yest an it rained for hours. plus about 45 minutes of half inch hale. so cold last nite alot of it didnt even melt. man it was cold.went to the spot i killed mine last year an there was tons of sign, poop, trees torn up, etc. nothing real fresh though. i moved about 500 yds... -

saw a couple
mulies were moving today about noon. i saw two bucks about a mile apart up walking around. the first one was a really nice one. second was a forky. kinda weird they were up at noon but it was cool an raining. i will put that tid bit in my brain for my hunt in a couple weeks- bnsafe

raining, again
its raining again in northern colorado, imagine that. i set up my tent but had mud all over me an was wet an cold. so, i drove to a nearby town an got a hotel an hot shower. suppose to quit tomorrow. hopefully- bnsafe

im heading up tues morning to set up camp. gonna camp out tues an wedn. get a hotel thurs for some hot food an a shower, then back to camp friday for saturdays opener. good luck to all on here, cant wait to start seeing some pics on the meat pole.- bnsafe

what to look for

trout fishing
im going to a state park here in mo that has trout. they release a certain number every nite depending on how many daily tags they sale the day before. i grew up doing it an its a blast. sure not the same as out west, but closest i can get right now. im lookin forward to it -

well i bought a ml tag for 38. never been there an its for a buck only so odds are way against me. an ive only got 3.5 days to hunt because i have friends coming out to elk hunt. but, it will be my first mulie hunt.- bnsafe

oh geez
had my mulie tag in the cart, paid for it with the visa, THEN it says there was an error an kicked me completely out of the system. (i know the money it there so not that). by the time i could even get logged back on it said they were all gone. never could get to the bear tag part. now it says...- bnsafe
