Found me a new hunting aid
Like all of ya\'ll I\'m always looking for something that would aid me in being able to hunt more... Well I found this thing called a Water Walker when reading through my 2016 annual hunting issue of Delta Waterfowl... It appears to be just the ticket for a old fart like me that now finds it... -

Health update...
Went to the pulmonary doctor today.... Had blood work and CT Scan of the lungs done 1st.... Good news and bad news... Good news.... The spot on my lung that wasn\'t cancer has decreased in size... Nothing else new on the CT Scan.... Blood work was within normal limits... Respiratory infection... -

Arkansas Youth Turkey Hunt this weekend

Battery question...
I have a NOAA weather radio that has a battery backup and I\'ve been using just regular alkaline batteries in it... Question is would I be better off using lithium\'s and why ???????? I have a set of rayovac that check 1.56v in it and they have been for several years but the battery backup has... -

1st duck hunt for the boys
Dec 12th was the 1st time the boys went duck hunting this year and it was a family thing since most everyone else is still deer hunting... The meat pole is lite... :( :( My 2 boys and 3 grand sons went and found good water but no ducks in the area... 3 wood ducks were killed... Of course...- Ol' Arky

Closing another book for the 2015-2016 Ark Deer Season
Both my boys and the grand boys are going to the deer camp for the final time this season and will be pulling cameras, locking down the stands with windows, winterizing the others and winterizing the deer camp cabin itself... They are also bringing my hunting stuff back for me to use during duck...- Ol' Arky

The week before...
I did get to go deer hunting the week before my wild ride of a biopsy... :upthumb: :upthumb: That week was almost as wild a ride as the past week but I spent it in the outdoors and not a hospital bed... Deer were very inactive for most of the week but I did have one god day of activity...- Ol' Arky
