Passthrough
Glad I found this thread... Of the three bulls I've taken I have yet to get a clean passthrough. Seems each time the arrow gets hung up on the fletching's... Hopefully the next one will sneak all the way through and give me a monster blood trail.- Dannyboy21

Bow Sights
I am still rocking the five fixed pin, it works well and is pretty idiot proof which has been good for me. I could definitely see the appeal of a slider for longer shooting and less clutter in the sight picture... maybe when I when the lottery... allthough, all the elk I have shot I wouldn't...- Dannyboy21

Tagged out in North Idaho on Monday Morning! Solo hunt, bugle session with another bull when this guy came in to rake in front of me at 15 yards. Two trips for pack out. Tired, sore but so happy to have some meat for the winter! Keep on keeping on out there y'all, fill the freezer.- Dannyboy21

Howdy! Where I was at, lots of bugles and interactions in the early mornings but everything living went down as low as they could come 10AM or so with how hot it is. Some bulls were responding to cow calls, others to bull vocalizations- Dannyboy21

Who packs a pistol?
Ruger .45 Long colt with heavy grains loads - typically three hallow points and three bear loads. I also carry bear spray though, Be Prepared... In my opinion it doesn't do any good to be worried about the predators as the data shows that usually, when people get into trouble it isn't lions...- Dannyboy21

Calling in Cows?
Lost calf calls are where it is at. I won't say it works every time, but if you use it purposefully and find a cow that is willing to help/pick up a stray calf, be ready, she likely will come in hot!
