Got my reservations for the second class!
Kicking around driving out and staying a few days after. Plan on camping in my hunting area to see how much things have changed. Boots on the ground.
This year started pretty good. Got this 550# boar down in Tennessee.
Used the Sevr 1.75 Hybrid and the first shot hit the shield and still penetrated about 6”.
Now moving on to turkey then bear.
Unfortunately, I can’t get them as sharp as I want. Using diamond stones, may try paper.
Looking at using the 1.75 Sevr hybrids. Taking them to Tennessee in March for hogs and if they pass that test, on to Saskatchewan bear in June.
My bow is tuned, so that’s not an issue, every 125 head I have...
This year kinda wonky, too much travel time with the wife.
Have an Idaho archery in my pocket. Will try for a Colorado 1st rifle. Point in Arizona, Nevada and Wyoming. Not even trying for New Mexico this year, no time.

I’m at 490 grains at 66#, so not much difference. A complete pass through is pretty tough on an elk. I did get pass throughs on a kudu and Wildebeest with 3 blade Muzzys.
Stupid rain! It’s hard enough for me being colorblind.
