Been using 125 Sevr Ti 1.5 Hybrids for whitetails the past couple years and I’m impressed. Shooting 66#, I’m getting complete pass though.
Got some of the new 1.75 Hybrids for Christmas and I’m thinking about using them for elk this year. I have a hog hunt in March and a bear hunt in June to try...
Even if they pack you in a drop you off, you still have to know how to find and hunt elk on your own. You still have to contend with other public hunters and hikers.
Depending on the private size and location, I would think it would be better, but remember, not every piece of property holds...
Thanks.
Ya, and friend moved to Montana a few years ago and bought a house. The realtor neglected to tell him that the FS released nuisance bears basically in his backyard! Dave walks around the yard with a.44 on his hip, so he’s happy now.
It’s official, new Pope & Young World Record Non Typical elk at 478 2/8”! Incredible animal and backstory.
Again, congratulations to a very humble man.
Congratulations to your dad on a great bull!
You guys talking about your dad’s slowing down at 67 and 71 is kind of a wake up call for me. I’m working on getting myself back into shape and I’ll be 65 next June. Take it from the old guys, it’s easier to stay in shape than get in shape!
Well, after not shooting much for a couple weeks because of work and the heat., I spent some time yesterday getting myself dialed back in.
Stepped out this morning and decided that 60 was my shot for the day. Pretty darn happy with it.
