Is there such a thing as TOO GOOD of elk habitat?
I've found a place with elk sign all over. There's almost unlimited food, water and sanctuary. But in 2 seasons and several days in the field, I haven't seen or heard elk when I was there. The unit is pretty massive and I've come to think they could be anywhere at any time, so how do I find them...- Falconview

Utah Yellowstone OTC Unit near Packard Lake… Any good?
Does anybody have any experience with this area in this unit. I've tried the North Slope and found all kinds of elk sign; just no elk. Wondering about this area of the South Slope Yellowstone/Vernal unit. I'm thinking South of Packard Lake, on the other side of the Duschane River. Anybody?- Falconview
