This weekend I took my son out for his last weekend of the rifle elk hunt, on our way in we noticed a large bull in the back of a truck with horses. We sat up camp and the hunters came out on their horses, while they were gone someone stole the elk out of the back of their truck. I can't believe...
my arrow stand arrived today! Thanks to elk101, SPOTnSTALK, and Stewart Steel. The stand is great, holds your arrows securely, is light weight and looks great too! The best part about it (besides that I won it) was the sticker that said MADE IN THE USA! Thanks again guys!

Had an inch of snow fall on us Saturday morning while out hunting elk, hopefully this cold weather will get the bulls feeling frisky. What's the weather been like where you all live?

Got the broadheads dialed in tonight and they are flying great. Makes things a lot better when you know your equipment is spot on. Confidence in your equipment is half the battle. Only a couple weeks until Utah's archery opener, good luck to all!
Hey just a heads up for if you don't have a subscription to extreme elk they are on camofire.com right now for a killer deal. Just got my subscription now I don't have to wait to read my brother in laws.

Hey looking for some opinions on wall tents. I'm kind of leaning towards a Selkirk spike tent. Need something for a basecamp that is a little more roomy than my two man tent.
Hey new to the forum, just thought I would introduce myself. Go by Gabe, live in Utah and live to bowhunt (don't even own a rifle). Elk is my passion, but I am still learning, seems every year the elk teach me something new. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you, and anything I can...
