072 Archery Bull; Nevada

Hey All,

I drew Nevada archery bull for area 072; Jarbidge. I've never been in the area and will be getting out for a few days in June and July for scouting. I'm looking for some general information on where to start up there. I'm a DIY kinda guy and will bust my butt to fill this tag as I'll be in my 50's before I'm eligible again.

Jarbridge is a couple hours away from me.  Definitely a lot of big bulls up there and its some pretty gnarly country.  I hunt just on the idaho side of that unit and there a lot of big bulls along the idaho nevada border.  If you have access to horses that would be a good idea but if not it will be some tough work ahead.

That's some big country.  I helped my pop's take a 7x8 out of 71 two years ago. Lot of big animals up there.

Thanks for the input guys, much apprecited. Ya it's pretty impressive country even looking at it on Google earth. I'm so looking forward to this hunt and the challenge.
