2014 Elk Draw is Updated

My 2014 Elk Pref Points have been updated.
I looked via the \'Frame Source\'

good luck to all. im gonna wait til the 30th to look at all our stuff. just put in for pp an second choice stuff for elk so wouldnt know anyway. hope yall get the tag of your dreams.

No points added for elk. So, I got the cow tag. It was a pretty sure thing, so not too much of a surprise.

I sure wanted the muley buck tag though, and missed it. So, it looks like bear and a cow all in Sept. Maybe a whitetail buck in Nov if we\'re not having a blizzard.

If you had points before the draw. You got the tag.

The only other option is if you didn\'t have any points, and the tag didn\'t need any points to draw it. You got the tag.

12, my Son & I each had 12 points.GONE, they\'re all GONE!!!! :thewave: gonna be a blabbering fool for the next 3 1/2 months. Hope my boss ( both at home & at work) understand my fragile situation.

Unit 61 here we come. We have been chasing this unit for a dozen years & am so amped at the chance to finally get into it. The Uncompahgre is an enormous unit so we have our work cut out for us. But, with help from several guys who have hunted it in the past, we have a general area to start out in. Nearly every single guy I have talked to repeats the same info...Lots of good bulls, few hunters, bugling from the opener, & elk everywhere you would expect them to be. It doesn\'t have quite the quality of bulls as the northwest corner kickers out, but does produce some terrific bulls every year. Nearly all the guys I\'ve talked to say pre scouting isn\'t really necessary, but we want to at least do a short weekend trip before sept. Probably at least an 8 hr drive from here, so probably only 1 trip this summer some time & a 2 week stint starting Labor Day. Thanks Brad, Bill & Herb for the info & time you have shared with me. :upthumb: Good luck to all in the draw & hunting this fall.

I hunted unit 61 last year. Great hunt. Wish I could do that every year.

for me, it says:

Bear Pending Pending 2014
Elk Pending Pending 2014
Deer Pending Pending 2013
Pronghorn Pending Pending 2014


I had 1 elk PP going into the draw, and was expecting to draw.... so not sure exactly wheat this means....

I have been reading that it depends on what OS operating system [I use Chrome]

Fill out the Draw Results / Pref Points Page

Once that come up, you will see PENDING on all the species.

RIGHT CLICK on that page and select VIEW FRAME SOURCE

You will then see a page with lots of code jibberish

Scroll down toward the bottom and decipher the Current Codes

I will post a pic of mine in the next post

This is mine on Thursday - the day before the elk draw - I now have 2 elk PPs and it says 2014

Do the results take longer for non residents, I can\'t get anything that states 2014

If your results still say 2013, Im guessing your application was the same as last year and you drew a tag.

Did you apply for a tag? Or apply for a Pref Point?

ElkMtnGear is in the same predicament as you are. With only 2013 results showing.

In other words it will only show 2014 if points changed up or down.

Buglemaster, let\'s chat sometime between now and the season. Looks like my wife drew her 1st season rifle for Unit 61 so we\'ll be coming in after your group - please be kind and leave one for my wife!

We\'re talking a scouting/50th birthday trip mid/end of July. Once we get some things finalized, I\'ll shoot you an email in case you\'re interested in joining us.

Didn\'t draw Unit 201 archery so hopefully next year.
