I\'ve been posting a handful of these, so figured I would start the 2017 thread. Post up some pictures if you\'ve got some!

A 1st and hopefully the last but I got a picture of Tiger Cat on one of my game cameras setup in SW Arkansas!!!!! :D :D

I actually got a picture of a \"John Deere\" too but on a different camera!!!! :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:

Glad your cameras made it through safely Phil! Looks like you were close to losing a couple of them.

We lost 2 when they cut the are my son and the grandkids hunt and 1 this time on my area. Bat least they didn\'t clear cut all our areas... If they can see a camera on the tree they normally will take it off and put it in a stand close by or just not cut the tree. The feeder that\'s on the ground in the second picture was stacked neatly next to the camera I had watching over it.... I had pictures of them moving it but think I deleted them...
That\'s the only bad thing about hunting private timbered land. It\'s a resource they the landowner uses when they can... But they did open up a new major road all the way back to where I hunt... I can drive my truck back there as long as it\'s not too wet...

Sounds like some new shooting lanes!

They did very little cutting where the stand I hunt is located. But they did use all my shooting lanes to travel back and forth with what trees they did harvest. We have some cleaning up to do in those lanes but all in all my area is still a big thicket with the 3 shooting lanes I already had for my stand...
Now on the powerline it\'s a different story... My son and grandboys will have more areas to hunt this fall... They\'ve already been looking at newly opened bow hunting areas in new lanes created from the powerline... :D :D

Nice pics Phil! :upthumb:

I figured the bucks way down there would be more developed than ours but they look about the same.

Great pics Phil! Crazy that the cat is less than 2 minutes behind momma and the fawn on the one camera.

I went up last Monday to check a trail cam I had placed a month earlier. There was a 5x5 bull feeding not far from my camera. But I found that a bear had messed with it. It had managed to open the camera door and scratched up the case. I had over 3600 pics of nothing
I went back up on Friday to replace it. I eased up into the area and I spotted an elk not far away in the timber...

This was taken on a trail using a camera so guess it qualifies!! Sure would like to put a tape to this bad boy in the fall!

Dang!!! That\'s some good growth right there Russ! Did he hold still while you strapped that GPS around his neck? :D

Derek, RMNP officers discourage petting the elk but GPS likely isn\'t needed as he will die somewhere in the park from old age!!

Definitely not the encounter Brad had in the \"wild\" and this came from a friend hiking over the 4th. He\'s got a lot of growing yet and a great frame! May be seeing him in downtown Estes late Sept chasing cars!!
