40-40-20 diet questions

I watched the first ( elk university) dvd last evening and Corey talked about the 40-40-20 diet he is on. what is it and where can I get information on it?  Is there anything that I need to pay attention too? Does it help?

I use fitday.com to track my nutrition and try to get 40% carbs, 40% protein, and 20% fats in my diet when I am working out. To get down to 20% fat, you have to eliminate just about everything sweet (ice cream, etc). It's tough to stick to that diet, but there is no doubt it works when you're working out and trying to get lean and mean for elk country.
 
This all depends on the person.I run a 50 30 20 and it works.But you got to know wat your BMI is.Like how many cals does it take to mantain your weight.Then you eat 500 less. You figure each gram of protien = 4cals carbs= 4cals fat 9cals.You figure BMI and go by this you will lose weight.Some guys need to tweek it a lil.But you eat like this a you wont starve.Good luck.
