Aerial Scouting at its best

WE all know we can look at aerial pics until we become cross-eyed, but what are you REALLY looking at?
Certain things can be seen if you just take the time and look a little bit closer.

Below are pics I found of a tree - I saw that it looked like some branches had been cut for a tree stand.
Well when I got there - IT HAD!
I even put a stand there.

That is not a GE pic.
There are several options to use for aerial scouting.
Flashearth is very clear but you can\'t tilt or pan
Bing maps is a good one too. If you use Bing, be sure to use the Birds Eye feature. As you zoom in it will show the view at an angle and you can also pivot the view to N E S or W and each view will look a bit different.
That pic above is using Bing with the Birds Eye feature.

I bet most are going to go try it now ;)
