It\'s blowing like crazy and blizzard conditions out. Reminds me of the movie \'Fargo\'. Office is closed, school is closed...good thing my new broadheads and target came in yesterday! Might have to do some shooting in the basement...

Same thing up here in FC.
No school means no work for me BUT I got no electricity ;(
Makes for a cold cup of coffee

I am sure have a camp stove somewhere to heat water and pour it through that electric thing.

Dang, no electricity is no fun. Ours has flickered a couple of times this morning...hopefully it will hold on!

Lucky for me my DIY cooking gear is in the back of the truck packed for tomorrow\'s turkey hunt.
I just may have to brave the elements and go get it

When are you guys supposed to head out Brad? Hopefully the storm will have passed by then...

Tomorrow morning we head out.
Forecast shows not much snow from this storm in Neb.

The way the winds blowing down here in COS I don\'t see how any snow could accumulate! I went ahead and came into the office - very quiet since whoever wasn\'t out on spring break is working from home today. Water is hot for tea and got my lunch so good to go!

Have a safe trip Brad.

brad, if it does snow, or is cold, they prob wont gobble much, but, they will still come. more patience is required. first year i went to ks back in 95 i think we had a huge snow storm the night before opening day. our group killed 6 opening morning. figure out where they are goin, an be there on day two before they get there.

Just came in from shoveling and plowing about a foot of wet, heavy snow.
Still no power.
May have to go find a nice warm bar

Yep, I\'ve been out plowing twice already. What a mess! Be careful if you head out Brad, sounds like the roads are pretty nasty, at least down this way. Bars might not even be open actually, so might want to call ahead.

My old man just got stuck on his way home from work...buried his Raptor in a drift about 1/4 mile from the house. Insert Ford joke here!! I was on the phone with him when it happened...all I said was \"I bet you wish you had a Titan!\" I don\'t think he found me very funny... :haha:

I was out with Denver Water this morning at a couple of my facilities. Snow just kept getting deeper - over a foot at my place in Denver now. Just had to help shovel my neighbor out of the middle of the street as he was stuck in his 2WD Mercedes. Then knocked the snow off of my pine tree branches.

A warm bar sounds pretty good Brad!

Well, we are officially snowed in. Was just out plowing the driveway again and saw a neighbor walking down the street with a shovel. His truck was stuck, so I offered to come try to help. Plowed down the road and got within 50 yards of his truck and all of a sudden the snow was 3+ feet deep. I tried to make some work of it with my ATV, but kept getting it stuck. I\'d maybe have a chance if I could see what I was doing, but visibility is brutal! Time for a beer :upthumb:

Back home from the warm bar.
Good food and beverage.
Still no electricity.

But I see blue sky to the north toward Wyoming

I see on our news Denver Airport was completely shut down, first time in over 10 years they say?

You can keep all that snow!!! Its spring

March 2016 Blizzard. No power for the last 12 hrs. But I\'m ready.
I didn\'t think my first camping trip of the year would be in my own house.

When I moved out here last year I almost sold my John Deere diesel yard tractor. I thank the Lord every time it snows that I didn\'t. My driveway is a good 200 yards long and it took all it had to push those big snow drifts!!!

On another note, people in Colorado can\'t drive worth a crap in the snow!!!

Of course people in Colorado can\'t drive worth a crap.
That\'s why they close roads and international airports.
Because pilots can\'t fly either

Hope you are referring to the eastern slope city slickers. Most people over on this side of the hill pretty much know how to handle the snow.

I was referring to all the 4wd trucks spun out on the side of the road. Yes in Denver. Watched 6 guys trying to pull a truck out of the ditch. I wanted to take all their man cards as I watched them try to pull it out.
