They don\'t group up any more than they do early in the season that I have seen. But they are still in good size herds and yes, they are definitely shy! I have had them take off running from more than a mile away when they saw me. Makes for a difficult hunt, but it\'s still a blast! So different than elk hunting in that you know you are going to see animals everyday, you just have to be good in your tactics to get close enough for a shot.\"bowhunter\" said:Do they group up more later in the season?
