Any one have a DIY tarp using trekking poles

Curious if anyone has any videos, pics, or input on making a DIY tarp with the use of trekking poles.  I've been looking at the super tarp and jimmy tarp's but am entertaining the idea of a DIY one and giving it a test over the course of this spring and summer.  Thanks in advanced.

Super easy.
Get 6 yards of fabric from ripstopbytheroll.
Sew together and reinforce corners and timeouts
