Since I don't bow hunt, the MZ tag. I have a choice  of ES,or any weapon bull or cow LO tags. I'm going with my MZ for a cow this year. But if their spooky I'll break out the -06....
I know, most of you are bow hunters here, but it's my choice. I use bow tactics still.

Thanks guys, I had pretty much decided on the archery tag, but you all have finalized it for me. It would be awful to get out there and the bulls are in prime rut bugling like crazy and I have a cow tag. Just can not risk it, besides I can take a cow with the archery tag if I want to.


I also agree we are all hunters and your manner of taking a legal animal is your choice...Good Luck this season to ALL.

If it is just about the meat than take the one that works best for you but the experience than archery every time. The one and only time a had a cow only tag I had 28 brow tine bulls in my sights that day and had to pass all, it really sucked.
