if you choose the right deer area, you can sometimes pick up an leftover javalina tag. but i NEVER see them when i have a tag in my pocket. my budget years where i was reluctant to drop the cash on a javi tag..i see them all the time. one year i had to try to sneak past them to get to my deer stalk.
I want to go this January maybe, but where to start. Would like to go in the Southwest portion of the state, and have done a little research. Would be leaving from San Diego.
