Arkansas Youth Turkey Hunt this weekend

So far it\'s turkeys 3 kids 0.... :downthumb: :downthumb:
Dad called it two 1st and both grandsons missed... Middle grandson missed his standing and oldest grandson miss his when it ran off...
Then a while later their dad calls in another and middle grandson missed him...
It\'s my understanding that both the grandsons thought the other caused them to miss and there was a disagreement on who was susposed to shoot first... :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Boys will be boys... :lol: :lol:
Youngest grandson didn\'t get to go this year like I was told he was but will get to go next year... I guess 3 boys ages 14, 13 and 7 was too much for my son to control by himself.... I usually take one and that\'s fun but threes a crowd...
They still have the rest of today and tomorrow morning to redeem themselves... :upthumb: :upthumb:

I have been waiting to hear the rest of the story so I finally call and talk to the oldest son...
After day 1 of the youth hunt the kids grew restless and day dawned with silence in the woods.... So after several different blind calling setups it was back to camp, load up the truck and head home... :downthumb: :downthumb:
They even waited til they got home (1 1/2 hour drive) to eat... :shock: :shock:
So this weekend is the regular turkey season opener... They say they will try again but this time dad will call the shots and I know from experience how he calls the shot....
BOOM!!!! Kill um.... :lol: :lol:
