Just wanted to brag on my son. He got his license on Friday. On Saturday he won the annual St. Jude Archery Tourney. It\'s a pretty big shoot around here. A lot of shooters come in for it, it\'s been advertised on the radio for a couple of weeks. He also particpated in some novelty shoots as well, they paired him up with Nate Hosie off Headhunters TV. Nate bowed out after missing 3 apples at 40 yards. Chase shot 11 out of 13 and then shot 2 lifesafers at 30. He drove the nail in the target that holding lifesaver on the second shot. That boy can shoot a bow!!! Just wanted to brag on him, I\'m so proud of him...he\'s in church in every Sunday morning, straight A student and Presidnet of his FFA chapter. God has really blessed his mother and I.

Thats awesome razor. Congrats to him on the great shooting and to you on raising a fine young man.

That is great Razorback. I am most pleased you and your son are faithfully serving the Lord. Jesus is good.

Very cool Steve :upthumb: Hopefully I am as lucky as you are and get to do the same bragging someday!

That\'s wonderful Steve! How old is he? When he is at the point where he can take some time off in Sept. to hunt elk with you It\'ll be a great time!
I\'m enjoying that now.

He just turned 16 and begins his Junior year next week. That\'s one of the reasons I want to find a good OTC spot and become an establishe elk hunter. When he gets to the point in his life he can go with me I\'ll probably be slowing down but hopefully be able to take him and get him into it. One things for sure if he figures out how to hunt them those bulls better watch out because he sure can shoot. A shop called him last night and wants to give him a target bow and sponsor him! He was so excited  He really looks up to Levi Morgan which from what I can tell is a pretty decent guy. I took him to an ASA tournament last month. We missed church on Sunday for it because the shoot was 2 days. I was driving him out to the range and he recognized Levi Morgan\'s truck pulling out from a hotel as we were going by. He followed us the whole way out there. It made the boy a nervous wreck, he just kept looking in the mirror behind us. I got a kick out of it. I think he has priorities right. Last night was the first night I let him just go to town to \"hang out\". He wasn\'t gone long and came home with a move he rented for his mother and a hot fudge sunday for her. I could just go on and on, I\'m PROUD of him.

Wow Steven, he sounds like a really great kid! Congrats, I hope you guys make some great memories on your hunts this Season!

You should be VERY proud. That is just down right impressive shooting. I wouldn\'t be a bit surprised to see him shooting as a pro for one of the big companies one of these days if he keeps that up.

Thats just way cool!
Tell him to keep it up as it will open many doors to his future
