Backcountry Idaho Hunt Success 2012

Here are a few bulls that were taken in the backcountry of Idaho this past fall. I was with one of my buddies and called it for him to 35 yards. Granted, this was a controlled rifle hunt, but we used archery tactics to seal the deal. There were 8 guys that drew the tag between two groups and they put 5 bulls on the ground by sunset on opening day!

Looks like a great hunt success... Any chance you have some local knowledge of OTC areas in idaho?  I want to hunt archery

What a great success story, congrats to all of you. Five bulls must have been over 1000 pounds of meat and antlers to pack out. That's a couple fun days of work.

Wow, those a sweet!!! I wish I was young again and had the buddies to hunt with like that. Must be a great experience. Maybe when my son gets out of college he will drag me around out there
