Hahaha, yes Dan, it is a way to see if you drew a tag or not, despite what Swede thinks \'backdoor\' means :lol:
To check it, jump on the CPW website and go to where you purchase tags. Fill out all of the initial information and then click on the \'Habitat Stamps\' button. On that page, when you scroll down you will see some codes next to all of your applications. Anything with a 500 code in front of it means you drew a tag. Hope that helps!

Just so you\'ll know what it should look like.
You can see my elk application (480) Then you see my results that shows I got the tag. (580)
You see my deer all (490), but no results yet.
Then you see my bear success (586) It never did show my bear application for some odd reason.

I can\'t get to that page. when going thru the app process it just shows my current app. any pointers?

It\'s confusing. Last week I looked at the preference points and it said I had zero, which I thought meant I had drawn my deer tag. Then, today I looked at the back door and my code is 490 for deer...

will it show second choice on the codes. my sons an my stuff all have 400 numbers in front of them. but i know he should have drawn the second choice cow tag as there are always about a 1000 leftovers. but if they show second choice its gonna be otc an leftover stuff for us. kinda surprised cause all of the stuff i applied for was second choice but had leftovers. guess time will tell.

Lark, last I checked, the backdoor deer results weren\'t posted yet. So as long as you are still showing 0 points, you should be good...
