Backpack straps

I got an Eberlestock Blue Widow. When its in daypack mode there is a lot of extra strap lengths here and there and back there. any good ways to secure them so they aren\'t flopping in the breeze?
 
No answer for you yet. I haven\'t even taken mine off to look at.

But, I did notice that the hydration sleeve is hard to get to when you stuff a loaded spike camp duffel in. It\'s just to tight.

Have you used the hydration sleeve on the fanny pack yet?

nope, not yet. I\'ve seen suggestions to hang the bladder in the main compartment so I\'m gonna investigate that more. I doubt I\'ll use the fanny pack attachment a whole lot just to cut down weight.
