bad bad day

a buddy of mine from back homes son killed himself this morning. my buddy and his wife found him. i dont know what the issues were, but, take a minute to hug your kids.

My heart goes out to the family.

I know the feeling as I too lost my brother to suicide on Sept 12 2014. I was out chasing elk and when I got out of the bush I had a message on my phone from my brothers girlfriend saying \"Please call your brother he\'s in a bad spot today\".

That message was left at 8:30 and I got out to my truck about 10:30. My Brother was gone at 9:30.

Had I known he was having issues I would have had him out hunting with me and chasing a bugling elk !! That would have cleared up his issues !!

Very sorry and I hope your family can deal with the loss. I\'m good now as I realise we all make our own decisions in life. Everyone is different in how we all think.

Maybe the grass is greener and the elk are bigger on the other side...........but I doubt it !! I\'ll find out much later in life when the Reaper comes for me !!

thanks guys, i cant imagine the hindsight guilt that would have to go along with that even though its nobodies fault. my point of posting this was to remind everyone to hug there kids. you never know what curve balls life will throw at ya.

I too have seen way too many similar situations over the years... :downthumb: :downthumb:

There is nothing you can say to make it better... I just always lifted the folks up in prayer and let God do the rest...
