i went to a public area i have never seen before today and went in deep away from the trails thinking i could get away from the crowd. think i did and had a bird answer me, but he was strutting in a open area and didnt seem to want to move out of it. so, i figured i would go towards him and he picked that time to decide he should move to. game over, he won. only bird i heard today. was gonna camp out and go trout fishing and hit it tomorrow, but bout stepped on a 3 foot snake on the way out and decided i didnt wanna hunt turkeys that bad. either im getting old, or im a cold weather hunter now. i freakin hate snakes

I hate snakes too...took out a nice 3\' bull snake at my house yesterday.
When to stay and when to move. That\'s what makes it fun. I\'ve heard you call, Scott, you don\'t need to get as close as I do. You\'re calls are persuasive!
