Not  really sure if this is the right place for this post but I was working out tonight with my hunting boots on and I got home and I had blisters on the front of my ankles. Never had this happen before with these boots, so I'm hoping it was just my sock bunching up funny or just a fluke! But it got me thinking about what to do if I got these dang things when I was in the mountains? Anybody use or pack 2nd skin or just bandages for something like this? I've also heard of guys using super glue for stuff like that. Just curious mostly

Thanks
Luke

Moleskin. Ace bandages.
I had a broken in pair of boots rub me raw on a backpacking trip once ,the tongue. Figured out it was being too loose at the top and volcanic dust got in. Kept it clean and fresh socks and moccasins for 25 miles on the PCT in OR.  Sisters to Hood and made it.

You might want to try moleskin.  You can cut to size and apply before it you really think is is going to be a problem. For sure you can apply after the blister.  I have even used on my hips in the past.  It is great.
