Ok im in the hunt for a new bow string. Im thinking either winners choice or Korbins. I had never heard of korbins till I did a google search. They are cheaper than winners choice, but I dont know if they come with the cables.
So if I get a new string should I also get new cables? My bow is 3 years old with the original string. Any suggestions on strings or advice on the two brands im thinking of? I also learned about speed sleeves. Does anybody use those? And why or why not?

If your going to get new strings get new cables. I currently use Side Hill Archery strings.  I have shot those strings over the last three years and have had no issues what so ever.  I have tried other strings like winners choice, zebra and a couple others but i always seem to have bad luck with them.  www.sidehillarchery.com  check them out.  Billy Price is the man you want to talk to and they will get them out to you as quick as possible, fair price and ill tell you what you wont be disappointed.

I shoot Winners choice strings, haven't had any issues with them. I bought my 1st set four years ago and they held together beautifully. I just replaced that set last month and am having the same results. I do wax my strings about once a week to keep them fresh.

I just got a Proline string on my bow and love it so far! They're a newer brand but my associate here who used to work as a bow tech at a local archery shop swears by them. They're worth a look as well! Check em out at http://prolinebowstrings.com/

i just got a set from winner's choice.  never had to replace a set of strings but, they did up my max draw weight by 7 pounds...60 pound limbs now have a 67# draw weight...
