I\'ve always carried my bow but thought about trying one for the hike in and out anyone have any suggestions?

Primos makes one that is pretty good.

I have one, but almost never use it. My pack has a way of lashing down a bow that works better.

my cousin always lashed his to his day pack and it carried great. didnt work so well when he had a nice 5x5 at 40 yds that walked out in a place he didnt think a elk would be and he couldnt get to his bow. got some nice pics of a nice bull though, lol. the moral of the story, keep your bow handy when hunting, maybe not so much on a hike in and out.
