Everyone uses them. There are many good ones available too.
Some have not performed not as well as we thought they should
What has been your experience over the years?

I currently use 100gr Slick Tricks.
They perform very well, fly like field points. I like the fact that I can re-sharpen them

I have used Muzzy in the past, but noticed they werent as sharp out of the box as I liked.
And with the blade design, they are much more difficult to re-sharpen

Tricks are great, IMO.

I am using Viper Tricks, 125 grains.

They fly great, and look much cooler than the regular slick tricks.

I used Muzzys for years but have switched to Slick Tricks as well. I use the 100 grain standards on deer but will be using the Viper tricks on elk. They fly exactly like my field tips. They seem to be a little more forgiving than the Muzzys.

I used 100gr Thunderheads for years. I switched to 100gr Montecs for the ease of sharpening. Both fly well out of my setup. I tried some front deploying mechanicals and found they had a lot less penetration. They worked but I like an exit wound to make a better blood trail. Most of my hunting, Except elk, Is for whitetail from a tree stand. When you get a pass through with a lower exit wound they leave easy to follow blood trails :)

I\'ve always been a 2 blade fan, especially on elk due to superior penetration.

Ran into a guy at the 3D Nationals last year selling these Anarchy Broadheads. I can get them scary sharp, and they fly great. Simple, and bullet-proof!

Muzzys for me! I\'ve used 100 grain 3-blade heads for years and love them. So you guys who have switched from Muzzys can send me all your left over heads - I\'ll take \'em!

I think the best head is the one that you shoot well. I used to use Wasp heads, which I thought were awesome, but I can\'t buy them locally. Muzzys are available at Walmart, so that\'s what I shoot.

I heard slick trick 4 blade broadheads are noisy in flight, Is this true? Been looking at them but been skeptical because of that, so haven\'t pulled the trigger. Shoot thunderhead edge 100gr fixed when elk hunting and swhacker 2\" 100gr for whitetail.

I have shot Bear Razorheads for as long as I can remember. But they are hard to find anymore. So last year, I bought a half dozen Stingers and I\'m really pleased with them. They fly like darts, hit right with my field points, and I can get them sharp enough to shave frog hairs.

Bill
I think I have a couple ol Bear Razorheads around here somewhere.
I wont ever use them.
Want them?

Thanks for the offer Brad. But I think I\'m going to stick with the Stingers.

Bigdan sent me a bunch of razorheads several years ago. He used to shoot them all the time as well. But he told me we wasn\'t all that good at sharpening them so he sent them to me after only a few shots.

Archery Bum, I shoot tricks & don\'t believe they make any more noise in flight than any other vented 4 blade. Of course, I can\'t hear myself farting  they are some of the best flying heads out there & super strong. Pick up a pack of viper tricks & if you don\'t like them I\'ll buy them from you....discounted of course... :D

Sounds like I\'m in good Company. Most of my elk were killed with Bear Razorheads...like I said, I\'m a big fan of 2 blade heads.

Been shooting 3 blade muzzy\'s for a long time they seem to fly good for me. Know if I can only guess my dang yardage right I might put them use use.

Archery Bum, I have used Tricks for several years now and have never had a deer show any indication of hearing them. Never even had one \'jump the string\' so to speak. \'Jump the string\' = missed high!!? But I digress!

Might have too pull the trigger and try them out . what one\'s would you recomend, I\'ve been looking at the magnum 100gr.

WW - my very first broadhead purchase was a Bear Razor Head! I think they came in a 4 pack back in the old days and they were like 8 bucks at K Mart. I never did skewer anything with those, unless you want to count the fence in my back yard, but they did fly nice!

I\'ve still got a few of them left Bill. But they are getting hard to find so I made the switch to Magnus Stingers. Russ used them on our last pig hunt as well. They sure looked wicked on the end of his arrows. They fly great and seem to be a lot beefier than the Razorheads. And holy mackerel, with my KME broadhead sharpener, they are so scary sharp, I\'m afraid to even look at them.

back in the day on whitetails we used rocky mnt razors, then when thunderheads came out I used them. really liked them a long time ago. I quit archery for a few years an when I got back into it I tried them an muzzys an couldn\'t get them to fly right no matter what I did. so, I went to rages for deer an pronghorn. only killed a pronghorn with them an he didn\'t go far, but the blood trail wasn\'t good, even with a complete pass thru. switched to slick tricks an shot my elk with a standard, poor blood trail but the elk didn\'t go to far. with all that said I am going to use rage 3 blade on pronghorn an mulies this year, an slick trick on elk. an whatever I got on the string at the time for a bear should the opportunity arise. I like the look of the new nap broadheads though.

i still like the montecs. the regular ones. i found a few carbon ones that spun wobbly.

i hate how i have to sharpen them first, but they fly awesome for me. i like the cut on contact.

i also have slick trick mag 100\'s. great head. lost a deer with one. thought the shot was beautiful, but apparently not. cant blame the head.
turkey get a grim reaper.

I\'ll be using Strickland\'s Archery 125 gr Helix again for elk, antelope and whitetails this year.
