Thought I would share one of the many bucks I saw last week during my hunt.

I had full intentions of doing a semi-live hunt but my mind was elsewhere for the first part of my trip as my mom was in Intensive care. Shes home and doing well so I plan on getting back down to my buddy\'s farm with my boys before the end of the season.

This is one of many shooters I saw (out of bow range) but this buck is one of the largest bodied whitetails I have seen in the field.

That\'s a pig! I saw a few like him while in IL and one of my buddies killed one that dressed 250#. Even the 1.5yr olds are huge compared to what I grew up huntn in NJ. IL is a special place

Great looking deer. My wife and I hunted near Beardstown for a couple of years back in the mid 90\'s. The place was loaded with nice deer then.
