Killed two day limit on sandhill crane. Success!
Did my best stalk ever.......on a giant jackrabbit. Saw him at 100 yards and stalked like ninja to 25 yards. Then made the best kneeling shot with my .22 handgun. It was satisfying beyond words. Success!
Killed a lot of quail. Success. I did miss a lots of shots trying a new sxs gun. I kinda sucked.
Deer. We bird dogged a herd for miles. I got a 242 yard shot and came unglued. I shot over his head because I put 8 MOA clicks when I should have done 2.4. (The bullet drop was 8 - duh!)
My brother and I did a 2 mike speed walk to get to a great mulie before the sun set. It was brutal. I got my brother to 180 yards and he got buck fever and missed.
We saw a pack of coyote drag down a fawn. Mom deer jumped in and was kicking yotes in the head trying to save the baby deer. It was shocking. A Buck was sneaking out. No help from the male deer against the coyotes. Men! We could not stand it and fired a shot to scatter the dogs. Then we noticed the Buck. My friend missed.
So three misses.
I also found 100 lbs of contraband. No pics I?m willing to show. Sorry. I?m not pissing of the cartel.
