Calling Elk

I\'m just curious as to what percentage of our BTO family actually call for elk? Cow calls and/or bugling?

Not very much. That has more to do with where we are hunting now though.

I sure do! If I couldn\'t call them I wouldn\'t even bother to hunt them. It would take all of the thrill away.

I have done it occasionally while rifle hunting, never with any luck. But I certainly plan to try this year on my first bow hunt!

I call to elk. Some times they answer. Sometimes people do. :lol:

I look forward to September just so the elk will talk back to us !! There\'s nothing I like more then calling elk !!
