Camo face paint

I would recommend just a camo face mask- less mess and you don't have to fight with getting it off. Otherwise if you are real set on camo paint - try military paint that stuff is water proof but a real pain to get off later.

Best stuff I ever picked up was military face paint from Army Surplus, even the Elk liked it  :)

I've used paint the last couple seasons and seem to like it pretty well. I also have camo masks I've tried but having to hunt with glasses they always seem to fight each other.

I did, about 45 years ago, the stuff is a pain in the butt.

I found a face mask that I really like, they seem to be a little hard to find now, but I did find a seller on EBay that has them. it is called Spandoflage sp? they form right to your face.

If you use military grade Camo face paint, an easy way to remove it is with shaving gel. This is how me and my buddies did it when I was in the Marines.

I haven't used a face paint, but a mask works just fine for me. Also there have been a couple times where I have been in the middle of elk without a mask or face paint and they didn't seem to see me. Last year I had a cow at 4 feet I was next to the only sapling on the hill side and she could sense something wasn't right but couldn't see me. I still like to have my mask as much as possible though.

Never have used face paint- too messy plus I dont want to spend the time applying it........... Used face masks for several years but didnt like the discomfort of the extra sweat when chasing bulls. I havent worn a mask or anything else to cover my face for the last 6 or 7 years and have not had any negative effects and actually I have killed bigger bulls. Just my 2 cents  ;)

I used the paint before and had good success with it but found it too messy to get off and really greasy like some had said.  I now have a couple different face masks I use that are easy on and off.  They also help to keep your face warm on a cooler day.

I never use a face mask. I can't stand anything covering my ears and cheek, especially if I'm bow hunting...  but my daughter taught me how to paint my face when I'm in the woods. If there is a burnt stump around grab a hand full crush it and apply ;D  actually  really easy to clean off... she tried it when we were turkey hunting . I thought it was a good Idea...

I will take a wine cork along and burn the end and then use that to "paint" my nose, cheeks and chin (if no good natural charcoal is available).  I just never liked how a mask affected my feel for my anchor point.  Carbomask is easy to clean off and stays on reasonably well, but not as good as the grease.

Never could use a net or face mask. I always use paint, either squeeze tube or military stick. Is it needed, often time not, but I think it is kind of Predator like so I always have it with me.

I use Hunter Specialties face paint that comes in a tube. It doesn't sweat off and I dries on your skin. Washes off with soap and warm water.

I have used it but more of it ends up on my pillow at night. Then after a few days the facial hair takes over.
