I'd personally worry more about finding a camo pattern that effectively breaks up your outline than finding one with lots of green in it. Ungulates (deer, elk, etc) see in dichromatic, not trichromatic colors like humans. That means they don't see the hues of the colors as much as we do. What they are looking for are the geometric inconsistencies (your outline) in their field of view. A good camo pattern that breaks up your outline will be far more effective than a camo pattern that looks appealing to the human eye, or one that "blends" in with surrounding colors.
I agree, when you reserach camo, people will say some of the best all around pattern and quality is Sitka and Kuiu. Which if you look at their stuff, it is all about breaking up the pattern and does not contain many differences in color
Don't rule out Predator, Natural Gear, Naked North Camo by Game hide, Mountain Mimicry. All have the same idea. Predator has some patterns with plenty of green.
I too use Sitka and love it. Have had antelope, deer, and elk look right through me and not know I'm there. Well worth the investment some may say it's over rated or too expensive, but once you put it on you'll love it.
I highly recommend Kuiu its made by the same person that engineered Sitka but has taken off with his own design and is far more durable better priced and more practical. I'm more of a solid colors kinda hunter thats why being set up properly when a bull is coming in is most critical you don't want to be behind the bush be in front and break up your outline.
Been using Cabellas Microtex in Outfitter Camo for years. Blends in well in most areas. dries fast, durable and inexpensive. I use same pattern in berber fleece for cold weather.
Kuiu and Stika seem a bit pricey to me, but heh maybe I'll win the lottery....
ASAT......Specifically First Lite Wool. If you've never hunted in Merino wool, you owe it to yourself.....You'll never go back. Since KUIU is also Merino wool based, they're my 2nd choice......Vias pattern. The Verde pattern may be what the OP is looking for....?
