Every rifle season my mom makes us some goodies, and one of the staples are her homemade carmel rolls. There is no way you could eat just one! What are some of yours that you have at camp?

I packed s\'mores for my son and I to enjoy the first weekend of archery season. We never touched them. Hell, I even offered to make some for Atfrith and I on the LAST weekend of archery season but we were too full and tired. lol

it the only time i allow myself to eat PopTarts and Rice Krispie treats.

figured all the hiking and freezing my butt off will burn all the surplus sugar. (ever read the ingredients? lots of sugar..they almost call it out twice:))

This is true, BUT I\'d say now it\'s got to be a given that there will be venison steaks in camp...they were too good not to become a staple!

Bought that awesome little thing for backpacking over the summer and it came along on most of our elk hunts as well. Was really cool to be able to sit down and make a beer after taking my deer a couple weeks ago.

First night at deer camp has to be rib eyes.
