Came across this product and wondered if anyone has tried it.
I wear face paint mostly because I wear glasses, masks dont cut it
It looks like it might be something to give it a try

Brad,

I know what you mean. I wore glasses until I had lasik about 10 years ago. The make up in the little compact or whatever they call it is a pain to remove. For that reason I started buying Halloween face paint when it goes on clearance. I like the tubes the best as they wash off the easiest but last year my wife picked up the little individual trays of make up for me. They were in useless flimsy plastic trays with no covers. That setup pretty much was useless for hunting.

My wife always sends me to get her makeup because the store where she gets it is right by my work. When she did this I had the idea o taking one of her old makeup containers and cleaning it out. I took my little trays and microwaved them for a few seconds until they were liquid. I poured them into her container and set in the fridge. Pulled it out and it was perfect. Makeup with mirror in a fancy gold and silver case. Lol!

I\'ll share one of my favorite secrets with you guys. Don\'t tell anybody. When I was duck hunting 40+ days a year I got really tired of face paint because most days I\'d go into the office after the hunt and that stuff is a pain to remove. The solution was a wine cork. Burn one end with a lighter and then use the charcoal as face paint. It\'s easy to apply, like a woman\'s lipstick and It comes off with a baby wipe. By far the best thing I\'ve used. Try not to inhale the charcoal dust as you put it on. The stuff works fantastic though and weighs next to nothing and has no scent!

i used to wear facepaint for turkey hunting, but got away from it just cause of the pain of getting it off, even in a bathroom, i dont want the stuff in a elk camp. i prefer it while bowhuntin, but still dont use it.

The only issue I have with using the burned cork is how to get the cork.

Cork means wine, wine means cheese and crackers.....
Cheese and crackers means more wine....

Its a vicious cycle. :)

I\'ve used it and its good stuff. I ordered it because I read good stuff about it.
I agree with the cork, they can usually be found at craft stores and I believe I found some at our ace hardware. The carbomask probably stays on a little better with sweat, but you can\'t beat the cork for weight(especially if you carry a lighter anyways).

Good luck in Alaska! Been reading all your Alaska threads, my son and I are thinking about a trip there in the near future.

Brad,

I have some that I received as a Christmas gift from my uncle I whitetail hunt with. He really likes it a lot and I\'ve lightly used it just to see how it cleans up. Definitely cleans up easier than the greasy stuff. I\'ll let you try some and see what you think.
