I always wondered if more public land means better CO Archery Success.

Take a look at the attached file and let me know what you think?

The harvest success rate is from the 2012 CO stats.

looks like its all over the board no rhyme or reason I would say no. If we are comparing unit to unit?

It was just a brain exercise, while the wife was at work.

I suspect that the percent of public land in a unit probably doesn\'t affect the success rate.

Dana,

Looks good and could be useful. I will update that spread sheet I told you I had built. Maybe with your help can post it here for others to use.

I know you were looking at success vs public land success rates, but it sure shows limited access draw units pay off in a big way! Try changing the ranking to % of public land, that might show some interesting info.

Thanks for the work, very interesting.

Are you able to create those tables right on the co. site?....never mind, I just looked up GMUResearch.com. Looks like a great site!

Thanks for posting this. Since the 2013 harvest stats are posted, I was wondering if you would be updating the stats?

Welcome to the forum Michael! I am sure Dana will update them at some point, but I\'ll let him speak to that. I know he has been a little busy getting this forum up and running, so it might take a little bit ;)

Time is my enemy right now, so I probably will not update this particular file.

Plus, I think the numbers will be skewed due to several units being closed due to the floods last year.

If it happens, it won\'t be until after the application deadline.
