They already have the draw recaps up on the CPW website in case anyone is interested...

Wow....my unit went from 100% draw last year at my point level to less than 50% this year. Feel fortunate to have drawn!

I sure like the new format of the recaps.

Got 13 pets now for Colorado and same for Utah. Trying to catch up but looks like my unit in CO now takes at least 15 pts. Might have to take 2nd season rifle. Utah I am still a few yrs out for unit I wan.

Now if my body will hold up a few more yrs. LOL :train:

I estimate it will take another 25 years for me to draw that tag.

Wow that is some intense point creep. Do you all think that the new change of requiring 30 days to turn in a tag or lose points will help? I know that can be a factor in the problem... Draw a long wait tag, go scout, not satisfied, turn tag in a few days before season, nobody uses, still have points, draw again within next couple of years. :dk:

Also, is hybrid draw worsening the problem? Seems like it would.

I would love to see stats on returned tags in the past. I didn\'t really know that was a thing. That would have really sucked for everyone else.

Yeah I would be interested to see that data as well. I have a buddy that lives in the Eagle area and they complain about it a lot on those deer tags. Have heard others complain about it for elk. Sounds like it is a thing, but I don\'t know to what extent...

No more \"wasted\" tags. Interestingly, those returned licenses not in the hybrid draw can be bought without a PP hit.

In one sense, the hybrid draw is only going to make point creep worse. In another sense, they\'re actually worth applying for once you hit 5 PPs, as long as you\'re still chasing.

So they just go into the regular leftover license pool then? Seems like there should be a different process.

Yeah, definitely worth applying.
