I have a friend who finally has enough points to possibly draw 201 this year, but he has heard that it burned sometime last summer/fall. I can't seem to find to find much in my searches. Anyone have any info on if it did indeed burn and if so, how bad? Thanks in advance.

ZB, there was a fire up there last year. To see where it was exactly, check out https://www.geomac.gov/viewer/viewer.shtml. Zoom into the area and then click the 'Historic Fire Perimeters' box on the left. You can use the legend to see what color is associated with what year, but the main fire you'll see up there was from 2017.

you can use search method and go back to look at historical fire data. Will give you fire perimeters on a google earth or google maps overlay. The feds and possibly states universally use it as a means of fire reporting and updating. Very userfriendly....

ZB, don't want to mention another web site but check bowsite.com. THere's a lengthy discussion on units 2 and 201 and talk about the fire. Mathewsman lives in that area and has good intel.
