Looking for a little advice on unit 53 in Colorado. My hunt will start September 9-18. I'm just curious to see if anyone has hunted this unit and can give me some advice as where to camp while I'm out there. The trail to get back to the spot that I want to hunt is 6 miles back. I've done some E-scouting but will not make it out there to do any scouting. Just want some general knowledge of the area (steep country, thick, etc). This is my plan A. Have a couple back up plans just in case. I'm not too worried about being able to hike far just wondering if it's doable to hike back to the truck every night or set up a camp back there. Also, I don't know if this area is populated with hikers - and there seems to be quite a few trails heading back into that area.
