COLO GMU 26

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum. I have been doing extensive research on GMU 26 for archery (elk/deer) for the 2014 season. I have hunted years past in the meeker area, and this year me and another guy are going to pack in on a archery elk hunt (my bachelor party/getaway). Just a few ideas and questions if anyone has experience in that area. I am pinpointing the general area of sheep mountain, somewhere in between cresent lake and emerald lake. By the looks of the on maps, the forest road runs out at about cresent lake? I am not too worried about road conditions, I am pretty confident my oversized jeep rubicon will not have problems. I am hoping that there is not much or if any ATV traffic off the forest roads in that area, and how about hunting pressure (first week of archery)? We are planning to get a few miles off the road. Any opinions and or tips would be great, need to get this nailed down before driving20 hours to get there this fall. Thank you
