I will be hunting the area south of silver jack lake near courthouse mountain during September Archery. Does anyone who has hunted there have any advice on areas to check out there or avoid? I will be out that way for 10-12 days so I will have some time to check a few other places if need be. This will be my first archery elk trip and I am going to that area based on some folks from my area who have had some success near there. Thanks in advance for any information :wave:

Never hunted that particular area, so can't be of much help unfortunately. But one piece of advice: I'd be careful how much info you share online about a particular location, especially if you know folks have had success in the area. If you give too many details, you'll find nothing but a bunch of hunters there when you get there.
