I put in for a draw unit this year for archery elk. Let\'s say I draw this unit. Can I still get a B tag for a cow(antlerless) only hunt? Is it available OTC?

Thanks

Being the novice I am I don\'t know what else to say (other than thank you for the Tyvek, keep an eye out in the mail in the next week or so). It\'s an Either sex archery unit that I put in for. I\'d like to hunt with my son this year and he is limited to OTC. Can I get an OTC antler-less tag?

Most of the units that are OTC for either sex tags are also OTC for list B archery cow tags. Take a look at the Big Game Brochure, there is a map that shows which units are OTC for each tag.

Guys, it looks like Lark put in for a limited unit not OTC so the answer might vary some.

Lark, I hope this explains. If not, send me your phone number and I\'ll call to try and explain. Go to page 34 of the CO Big Game brochure that lists the OTC Antlerless Elk Archery units. Find the limited unit YOU put in for. If that unit is tan on the map on page 34, then your son could get an OTC antlerless archery tag.

Ex: Unit 791 where I hunt. It\'s a draw only unit(page 35 shows the OTC units for archery and it\'s White so not a valid unit) but has OTC cow archery licenses available(tan color on page 34).

Unit 61 is draw only for all archery so it\'s White on page 34 and White on page 35. This would imply that unit 61 is drawing only for ALL archery tags. There are likely some exceptions but this would likely be accurate for 99% of the cases.

Looks like I can hunt my limited unit as planned, then take my son with his OTC tag and my B tag OTC to the areas we\'ve been OTC hunting the in the past. Thanks for clearing that up!
