I am packing in for a DIY OTC archery elk hunt in 2 weeks. I've narrowed it down to 2 locations but I'm looking for any input or suggestions. The first location is First Fork off the Piedra River in GMU 77 and the 2nd location is east of the Pine River near Bald Mountain and Flag Mountain. Like most I'm willing to walk miles and miles to get away from pressure. Any info is greatly appreciated. I have a lot of infoon the Gila Wilderness in NM if anyone wants to trade info.
